Patent № 2617500
Stone separator-fluffer “Barier” is used for extracting stony inclusions from argillous raw material in a clay preparation line. It is set at a primary processing line.
“Barier” has two shafts, equipped with multifaceted disks. The shafts rotate in the counter direction. The disks of each shaft are turned with respect to each other with angular displacement, so their facet points make a helical curve line. There is a locking auger above the shafts. Argillous raw material is fed on the disks, fluffed up and dragged into the gap between the disks, moving to a discharging chute. Hard lumps and stones of bigger size than the gap between the disks are transported by the helical curve line to the locking auger.
The slowly rotating locking auger holds raw material on the disks at the housing area in order to crush a lump and to break free uncrushable inclusions for removing them by auger flights from the housing area of the stone separator to the special area for stones of the discharging chute.
The frequency driver is designed to change turning number of the locking auger to control lumps holding time in the housing area in accordance to impurity level of raw material.
